So... Where's the whole end thing in this now?

Well you see, if we dont get these solutions into place soon then things will get bad, like really bad. The next easiest way to acquire oil is to buy it off of other countries. But those countries might not be willing to sell the oil and then the next solution to getting at it would be to fight our way to it other words war. And were not talking about fighting 3rd world countries here, i mean countries with world military power woth nuclear weapons, rockets, tanks, and long range missles. The war will be at home this time, not in iraq or adjikistan, so i'm talking major casualties and large scale desrtuction. World war 3 will be the last war and it will be over oil unless we put these precautions into place.

What about our electricty?

fact: 50% of american house holds get power from coal power and other fossil fuels.
"Does that mean that once fossil fuels run out we'll have no electricity?" No it doesn't. it means if we don't find a solution for when we run out, we will be stuck in a bad place for a ver long time. A good idea would be to use unlimited sources of energy, like hydro plants and wind farms. They are inexpencive so your taxes will not be effected and a medium sized wind farm could power a small city. There are also many other natural energy source prototpes out there like the sea snake energy plant which uses the motion of waves to generated power. there are many ways to continue on safely with out destroying the planet or other countries for power sources.

What can we do about it?

Straight up honest truth is, nothing... There is not a stinkin' thing you can do about it. We will run out no matter what we do to conserve it. the thing we can do is be prepared for when we do run out. A good way to prepare would be to invest in 100% electric cars. "Why can't i buy hybrids instead? aren't they cheaper" you can and yes they are, but when oil disappears so do the hybrids.
